Payroll SpecialistVienna, VAJob Type: Full Time AssociateReq # 32868About the role We are seeking a reliable and detailed Payroll Specialist to support accurate and timely payroll operations for our organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring employee pay is processed correctly, payroll records are maintained withThis role reports to the Manager of Payroll and is a hybrid role with a flexible work arrangement out of our Vienna, VA office.The hiring range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 annually, exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary), based on experience and proximity to the Vienna Home Office.You WillAccurately process multi-state bi-weekly payroll, including all associated reporting needs.Manage administration of payroll including importing and processing timesheets for all exempt, non-exempt and part-time employees, computation of required and voluntary deductions and preparation and verification of payrolls.Ensure bi-weekly payroll is completed accurate, on time, and that wages, salaries, and deductions are paid in accordance with established policies and the law.Creating reports in Excel per manager request, to track processes and general reporting.Assist with internal and external payroll related audits.Processing Employee Garnishments with accuracy and storing documents in employee file.Process and reconcile biweekly 401K contributions & loans.Identify issues and/or problems to make proper adjustments and ensure accuracy.Research issues to effectively handle employee payroll inquiries.Review, analyze and verify payroll reports for accuracy.Verifies employee data and adjust the record as required.Maintain sufficient records to comply with all company and regulatory needs.About YouHighschool diploma or equivalent3+ Years payroll experience in a high volume, fast paced environmentKnowledge of policies and procedures, rules and regulations that affect payroll.Knowledge of payroll transaction codes and input processing procedures.Impeccable business acumen and the ability to interact with external clients.Attention to detail, organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvement.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionallyStrong business acumen, ethics and integrity.Ability to research, analyze, and resolve problems.Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and adapt to a frequently changing work environment while meeting deadlines.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Grow With UsCareer Development and Training OpportunitiesParticipate in a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental coverage, tax-free savings plans, life insurance and moreParticipate in our Vision coverage and associate discounts on our productsParticipate in our 401(k) with competitive company matchAccrue PTO and paid holidays from day oneIntroduction | MyEyeDr.How do you see yourself today?
