Contract Specialist

To support the Contracting Team, the full-time remote Contract Specialist will manage vendor negotiations, contract development, and implement contracting principles for purchasing equipment, supplies, and services in a complex supply chain environment. Key responsibilities Ensure adherence to established purchasing policies and provide contract management support for awarded contracts Develop and maintain systems to measure progress and report on outcomes while managing supplier relationships Review and negotiate purchase requisitions, ensuring contract alignment and compliance with financial and regulatory requirements Required qualifications Associate Degree or a minimum of two years of experience in Supply Chain/Contract Management Five years of related work experience in Contract Administration, Vendor Management, or Purchasing, preferably in a healthcare setting Proficiency in PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint) Knowledge of basic legal principles and commercial business terms Understanding of project management processes and systems to meet deadlines and achieve goals
