The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing the admissions process from inquiry to move-in while supporting census development and quality mix. This role serves as a key liaison between residents, families, referral sources, and internal departments to ensure a smooth transition into the facility.

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the admissions process

• Conduct tours for prospective residents, families, and referral sources

• Handle walk-in, phone, and electronic inquiries and follow up promptly

• Obtain, review, and verify clinical, financial, and insurance information

• Screen and evaluate prospective residents against admission criteria

• Partner with hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, and social services

• Ensure all admission documentation is accurate and complete

• Assist with census development and referral source relationship building

• Address resident and family concerns during admission and transition

• Prepare admissions reports and track trends

• Participate in community referral events and outreach efforts

• Support Administrator with follow-up on admissions and discharges as needed

• College degree preferred

• Sales or marketing experience (healthcare preferred)

• Familiarity with long-term care or healthcare settings strongly preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor
