Product Manager III- Small Business

Product Manager role is responsible for driving the development and lifecycle management of non‑interest‑bearing deposit banking products for U.S. consumers and small businesses. This role focuses on executing strategic initiatives, tracking key metrics, managing the product backlog, resolving client and operational issues, and ensuring risk and compliance controls to maximize product success and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Drive the product roadmap by defining priorities, features, and enhancements aligned with business goals. Track key metrics (applications, balances, client retention) to inform data‑driven decisions and improvements. Conduct primary research with clients and sales colleagues to inform the product roadmap. Conduct secondary research for competitive intelligence to understand market needs and benchmark against other banks and fintechs. Meet regularly with vendors to understand current and new offerings and provide partner capability intelligence. Participate in meetings with potential fintech partners whose solutions the bank is exploring. Lead issue resolution for client inquiries and operational challenges, collaborating with Relationship Managers and Operations teams. Remediate critical issues and implement process improvements to enhance client experience. Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as FDIC and OCC. Maintain compliance documentation and controls for audits. Create compelling presentations to communicate strategies, performance, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams. Drive alignment across Sales, Technology, and Business Managers to deliver product objectives. Identify inefficiencies in product workflows and implement solutions to streamline operations. Define product requirements (e.g., BRDs) and coordinate delivery with engineering and operations teams. Monitor progress and elevate risks to ensure timely execution. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in banking product management. Minimum 3 years of experience in Small Business lending and deposit products. Minimum 3 years of experience managing medium to large projects. Additional Qualifications Proven ability to drive product strategy and execute complex initiatives. Deep knowledge of banking products (deposit, loans, branch services) and U.S. regulatory environment. Strong analytical skills with expertise in metrics tracking and data‑driven decision‑making. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders. Proficiency in analytical tools (Tableau, Excel) and Agile methodologies. Experience with cash/treasury products and deposit product experience a plus. Benefits Starting base salary: $92,114 - $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
