Job Title: Forklift Operator FLSA/Grade: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor Department: Operations

Position Summary:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for maintaining all stock inventory and pulling orders for manufacturing per designated work orders by performing the following duties.

The position of Forklift Operator is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and shall be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked more than 40 in any one work week.

The Forklift Operator shall be accountable and supervised by the Warehouse Manager .

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Oversees and maintains all stock inventories for warehouse daily.
• Follows daily manufacturing work orders giving special attention to various materials.
• Maneuvers heavy materials with the use of forklift, pallet and hand truck as required.
• Unloads shipping trucks as required.
• Maintains and ensures all machines are functioning per established work standards.
• Assists shipping area with package procedures as requested.
• Reports any concerns or discrepancies to management.
• Maintains tools and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
• Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift 90lbs.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• RF/WMS experience preferred.
• Standup forklift experience preferred.

Salary:

$20-$24
