Forklift Operator – Cold EnvironmentProduction Facility Location: Linden, NJShift: Day Shift | 5:00 AM StartImportant — Cold Environment NoticeThis position operates in a refrigerated production environment ranging from 34–38°F, with freezer areas that drop below freezing. Candidates must be comfortable working in cold conditions for extended periods and are required to bring their own appropriate cold weather gear including thermals, layers, and gloves.What You'll Be DoingOperating Raymond Deep Reach trucks as the primary equipment — this is the most critical skill for this roleOperating counterbalance and stand-up forklifts as neededMoving product and materials throughout the production floor safely and efficientlyFollowing all GMP, food safety, and warehouse safety protocolsParticipating in an in-house skills verification and training refresher upon startWhat We're Looking ForHands-on forklift experience — deep reach truck experience is strongly preferred and highly covetedExperience with counterbalance and/or stand-up forkliftsPrior experience in a cold storage, refrigerated warehouse, or food manufacturing environment strongly preferredAbility to work in cold temperatures for the duration of the shiftSafety-conscious with a strong attention to detailReliable, punctual, and able to commit to a 5:00 AM start timeForklift certification card preferred but not required — all operators will undergo an on-site skills verificationPhysical RequirementsAbility to work in cold environments (34–38°F and below freezing in freezer areas) for extended periodsMust provide own cold weather gear — thermals, layers, insulated glovesMust be able to stand, walk, and operate equipment for the duration of the shiftCompensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
