Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Beaumont, TX. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Daily tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance, replacing or repairing components, and ensuring systems meet safety and efficiency standards. The technician will interact directly with clients, provide clear explanations of work performed, and document service activities accurately. The role also involves collaborating with team members, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements, and maintaining tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order. Qualifications Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently. Experience with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, such as condensate drainage and piping connections. Ability to perform preventive maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, and adjustments to optimize system performance. Knowledge of electricity and electrical components, including wiring, controls, and safety practices for HVAC equipment. EPA certification or eligibility to obtain certification for handling refrigerants and complying with environmental regulations. Previous experience as an HVAC technician or in a related mechanical trade. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site service work. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
