We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Restorative Aide to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As a Restorative Aide at Millington Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Our skilled nursing facility is committed to delivering exceptional patient care, and we are looking for a talented individual to help us achieve this goal.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with restorative programs, including range of motion exercises, mobility training, and activities of daily living (ADL) skills
- Help residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming needs
- Provide support with feeding, toileting, and incontinence care
- Assist with transferring residents to and from wheelchairs, beds, and commodes
- Document resident care and progress in accordance with facility policies
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in healthcare or a related field preferred
- 0 years of experience or willingness to learn and train
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
