Tax Associate

Our client is a top-tier US law firm with a globally recognised Tax practice, advising multinational clients and private equity sponsors on some of the biggest, most complex and highest-profile cross-border transactions in the market. With a bench of 55+ tax lawyers across their US and European offices, the group works as one integrated team on complex M&A, private funds and financing matters that most tax groups only see from the sidelines. This is a genuinely transactional and financing-led tax practice, not a compliance shop. You'll be embedded in deal teams advising on complex M&A, private equity and private funds work (formation through exit — buyout, growth equity, real estate, secondaries and more), restructurings and recapitalisations, securitisations, REITs, and capital markets and other financing matters. The firm's cross-border reach means real exposure to multi-jurisdictional structuring alongside colleagues in London and key continental European offices, not just a US-only view of international deals. We're keen to speak with tax associates from the Class of 2022 or 2023 currently at top-tier Firms, with a grounding in transactional or funds tax work and an interest in staying close to the deal rather than moving further from it. You'll bring strong technical fundamentals, sound judgement under deadline pressure, and the appetite to take on real responsibility earlier than most platforms allow. #J-18808-Ljbffr
