ServiceNow Security & Risk Business Analyst

Kforce has a client in Austin, TX that is seeking a ServiceNow Security & Risk Business Analyst. Position Summary: ServiceNow Business Process Consultant focused on Security & Risk (SecOps / GRC) to define and optimize security operations, risk, and compliance workflows. This role translates business needs into standardized, automation-ready processes that improve security posture and regulatory alignment. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process discovery and requirements gathering for SecOps/GRC initiatives
- Design end-to-end security workflows (incident response, vulnerability management, risk & compliance)
- Define risk, control, and audit processes aligned to business and regulatory needs
- Identify opportunities for automation, controls, and process optimization
- Translate requirements into user stories, process maps, and functional specs
- Partner with architects/dev teams to ensure solution alignment and delivery
- Support UAT, backlog grooming, and stakeholder communication
- Establish standard security and risk frameworks and best practices
- 5-8+ years of experience in business process consulting/BA roles
- Experience with security operations, risk, or compliance processes
- Strong skills in process mapping, requirements gathering, and workflow design
- Experience working across business and technical teams
- Experience with ServiceNow SecOps/GRC or security platforms
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO, SOC, etc.)
- Exposure to security automation or risk transformation initiatives
- Clear, scalable security and risk process designs
- Increased automation and improved compliance posture
- Enhanced visibility and efficiency across security operations
