Step into a dynamic school-based setting as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant focused on supporting middle and high school students. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 11, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with the flexibility to consider candidates seeking around 30 hours per week. Your primary school assignment will be tailored to your location, with the potential to float between two campuses as needed for coverage.

Leverage your SLPA expertise to make a meaningful impact with a caseload of approximately 80-90 students—caseload size will take your skills and background into account. Experience working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is a significant plus. You’ll collaborate onsite with educators and specialists to develop and deliver engaging interventions for secondary-aged learners, helping them achieve their communication goals in both academic and social settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant professional license (required)
• Recent or current SLPA experience in a school environment, preferably with middle and high school students
• Familiarity with AAC devices used in educational settings highly desirable
• Ability to secure state-required fingerprinting and clear a background check
• Flexible, adaptable, strong organizational and communication skills
• Please indicate if you have previously worked for this district or if you have ever been terminated from a school district, as this affects eligibility

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
• Implement IEP goals and track student progress
• Collaborate with teaching staff and related service providers

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
