As a Senior Java Software Engineer you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.What you'll do:Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.Experience you'll need to have:6+ years of experience in software development3+ years of experience in Java3+ years of experience in SQL databases3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices3+ years of experience with Agile methodologiesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).Experience that would be great to have:Experience in the financial services industry, specifically card processing.Experience with C programmingImportant information about this role:This role is on-site Monday through Friday.
