Title
PCU - Cardiac Stepdown

Schedule
Shift: Nights

Requirements
- Active nursing license in the state or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; CPI preferred
- 1+ years of cardiovascular/stepdown experience required; 2 years preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, specifically Epic

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and provide care for cardiac and vascular patients.
- Manage post-cardiac catheterization, post-myocardial infarction care, and heart failure patients.
- Recognize cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias.
- Administer cardiac drips (non-titration) and adhere to heparin and intravenous insulin protocols.
- Provide respiratory support, including BiPAP/CPAP and non-invasive airway support.
- Perform wound care, isolation precautions, and manage vascular access.

Compliance / Notes
- All requested time off must be listed at submittal; maximum of 4 days RTO can be auto-approved.
- Orientation modules to be completed onsite.
