Job Summary and Qualifications

To administer, analyze and appraise the care given to patients within the Department. To advise the Director regarding the status of patient care, budgetary projections, quality improvement processes. To anticipate and estimate future needs of the Department to improve quality of patient care.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 3 year RN experience in acute care setting; 1 year supervisory experience required
• Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required for RN's on all nursing clinical units; or BLS, ACLS or PALS Instructor issued by AHA or American Red Cross

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is a 221-bed acute care hospital. We serve the communities of Seminole and West Volusia County. Our program offers open-heart surgery and interventional cardiology. Electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and comprehensive diagnostic services are also offered by this program.
