Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapist license
• Experience working in school or pediatric environments preferred
• Solid understanding of occupational health principles and best practices
• Ability to assess, develop, and implement effective therapy programs for diverse student populations
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families
• Strong organization and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to identify students’ needs and areas for occupational therapy intervention
• Develop and carry out individualized therapy plans that support students’ educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines
• Track and document student progress, making adjustments to intervention plans as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
• Educate students, families, and staff on adaptive techniques and strategies for optimizing participation in school activities
• Maintain compliance with all relevant policies and regulations
