Seasonal Registered Nurse – Cath Lab (260002IX) InterHealth Medical Staffing Solutions is a for‑profit staffing division of Tampa General Hospital. Seasonal contractors may consider full‑time or part‑time conversions and may be eligible for contract extensions depending on team coverage. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the specific division hiring into and must be competent to work independently. Responsibilities Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self‑care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Qualifications Must have a minimum of one year of related work experience and be deemed competent. Must have current FL RN license. Must have and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Seasonal RNs assigned to the Emergency Room or PACU must also have PALS. NIHSS required. Must have previous Cath Lab experience.
