Step into a rewarding onsite opportunity supporting high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a school setting near Elgin, IL. This contract position allows you to make a direct impact as part of a collaborative educational environment, helping students achieve their communication goals.

This role is available full time (up to 37.5 hours per week), though part-time accommodations can be considered to fit your needs. You’ll be working onsite with daily staff hours from 7:55 AM to 3:25 PM throughout the current school year. The initial caseload consists of approximately 30 students, and may grow to a maximum of 60 for full-time professionals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license with ASHA CCCs
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois
• Ability to supply a screenshot of both your active IL SLP license and PEL upon application
• Experience in a school-based setting, preferably at the high school level
• No SLPAs or Clinical Fellows accepted for this role
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services for high school students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with families, staff, and other professionals
