Locations Showing 1 location Vertu 1212 E Bethany Home Rd Phoenix, AZ 85014, USA Community Manager is directly responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of their property, ensuring it is maintained in good physical condition and is a stabilized fiscal operation. Responsibilities Promotes a positive, professional environment that supports enthusiasm, accountability and teamwork. Meets commitments through timeliness, follow‑through and accountability; expects the same of the team in the course of their duties. Oversees performance of all team members and works with subordinate supervisors as needed; prepares written evaluations at least annually and recommends improvement and growth. Ensures team is executing duties in compliance with industry rules and company policies relating to residents and co‑workers. Supports a work environment that exhibits teamwork, encourages communication, shares ideas and celebrates wins; applies resourcefulness in implementing initiatives for maintaining and increasing occupancy. Ensures the team has necessary supplies, equipment, training, and encouragement to perform efficiently. Familiar with all aspects of leasing team duties; supports management of work orders within the service department. Reviews property financial data regularly to ensure budget, benchmarks and goals are met; rewards success and addresses shortcomings. Works within the established budget. Works with residents to answer questions and address concerns. Reports accidents and emergencies to corporate office immediately and prepares proper reports. Continually walks property to ensure presentation is always at its best and takes action when necessary. Establishes schedules and ensures adequate staff is available on any given day for leasing and servicing. Oversees employee training and works with Service Manager to promote safety throughout the teams and property. Ensures organization of resident functions directly or through subordinate team members. All other duties assigned. Qualifications Strong communication, influencing and leadership skills. Confidence and motivation to lead a sales and maintenance team in achieving property goals. Previous residential property management experience. Associate’s degree or higher in Real Estate (Preferred). Driver’s License.
