Outside Sales Representative – Truck Equipment Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Truck Equipment / Commercial Vehicle Upfitting Compensation: Base Salary Plus Commission About Knollwood Knollwood is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team and help us continue growing our sales of service bodies, flatbeds, and commercial truck equipment throughout the North Georgia and Central Tennessee territory. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and winning. You will work directly with commercial vehicle dealerships, upfitters, end users, and other businesses to identify opportunities and provide the right equipment solutions for their needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new accounts, growing existing relationships, and increasing sales throughout their territory. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with truck dealerships, upfitters, end users, and other commercial vehicle customers Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory Grow sales of service bodies, flatbeds, and related truck equipment Make regular in-person customer visits and actively manage your sales territory Understand customer needs and recommend the right equipment and solutions Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and close sales Work closely with customers, inside sales, operations, and manufacturers to ensure customer needs are met Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends Maintain accurate customer and sales information Consistently meet or exceed established sales goals Qualifications Required: Proven outside sales or business-to-business sales experience Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills Ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Strong organizational and time-management skills Valid driver's license and good driving record Willingness to travel throughout the territory, including some overnight travel Preferred: Experience in truck equipment, automotive, commercial vehicles, or a related industry Experience working with commercial vehicle dealerships and/or upfitters Existing relationships within the commercial vehicle or truck equipment industry What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is extremely driven, motivated, and competitive — someone who hates losing more than they like winning.
