Junior Litigation Attorney

Attorney Position A growing and highly respected litigation firm is seeking an attorney with 2–5 years of litigation experience to join its San Francisco office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney who enjoys litigation work but prefers to work closely with seniorattorneys rather than managing a full independent caseload immediately. The role will support two experienced partners and offers hands-on exposure to depositions, mediations, legal research, and case strategy in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct legal research and case analysis to support litigation strategy Assist senior attorneys with depositions, mediations, and hearings Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents Review case files, documentation, and supporting evidence Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Support case preparation and trial readiness Ideal Background 3–5 years of litigation experience Insurance litigation experience strongly preferred Experience in real estate or broader civil litigation will also be considered Strong research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused legal environment Work Environment First 30–60 days onsite in San Francisco for onboarding, training, etc. Transition to hybrid schedule (3 days in office) Compensation Salary: $125K – $150K Bonus eligible based on team settlements and case outcomes Competitive benefits package This is an exciting opportunity to join a firm known for handling complex litigation matters and advocating for clients in high-impact cases while continuing to build your litigation skill set alongside experienced attorneys.
