Job Opportunity: Gastroenterology Physician

We are excited to announce an opening for Gastroenterology Physicians to join our Hospitalist Model at our new facility in Syracuse, NY. This position offers a unique chance to be part of a growing service within our organization.

Position Highlights:

• Role: Function as a GI Hospitalist, providing inpatient consultations and performing various procedures.
• Collaboration: Work within a comprehensive health system that is part of one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic healthcare networks in the country.
• Schedule: Enjoy a 7 on-7 off work model.
• Support: Benefit from strong administrative backing for the growth and vision of the GI department.
• Network: Access a large network of primary care and specialty physicians.
• Call Schedule: Currently, call is one weekend per month, with affiliated groups covering evenings and weekends.
• Patient Volume: Manage an average of 15-20 inpatients and 3-7 new consultations daily.
• Education: Opportunities for resident teaching and involvement in clinical research.

Areas of Focus:

We aim to enhance expertise in the following specialties:

• Advanced Endoscopy, including EUS with therapeutics, Advanced ERCP skills, EMR/ESD, and enteroscopy.
• Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
• Hepatology (non-transplant).
• Esophageal and Rectal Manometry.

Recruitment Package:
