Operating Room Support Specialist, VNS - Part Time (Springfield, IL)

Position Overview We are looking for an Operating Room Support Specialist to assist with the implantation of the VNS Therapy System for patients with drug‑resistant epilepsy in the Springfield, Peoria, Bloomington, IL area. Key Responsibilities Support operating room staff during VNS implantations, including coordination with neurosurgeons, epileptologists, and nurses. Provide intra‑operative product support, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and programming assistance. Assist with credentialing, hospital access, and immunization requirements. Remain available to work on short notice (1–2 days) and complete up to 29 hours per week. Qualifications B.S./B.A. degree or clinical technical/operating‑room experience. Ability to project a positive image of the company. Computer literate and proficient with MS Office. Exceptional written, verbal, and non‑verbal communication skills for OR environments. Ability to maintain all required healthcare immunizations. Compensation & Hours Competitive hourly rate of $60 per hour (may vary by location). Part‑time position: up to 29 hours each week. Training & Support On‑site training will be provided at our Houston corporate office, along with procedural training as needed.
