Introduction

In this contingent resource assignment, you may consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Business Execution. You will consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking. You will provide expertise to client senior leadership on innovative Business Execution business solutions and strategically engage with client personnel.

Salary Range

$90/hr on W2 to $95/hr on W2

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• 5 years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting, or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with computer-based accounting systems.
• Experience gathering accounting requirements used to build accounting systems.
• Experience leading complex projects or initiatives impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterprise.
• Strong written, analysis, and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate with various levels within the organization.
• Experience building large-scale financial banking system implementations with hands-on involvement in requirements gathering, testing, training, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Good understanding of multi-currency enabled General Ledger ecosystems.
• Experience using big data/Cloud/query data tools.
• Ability to build business relationships with multiple stakeholder groups in accounting and technology.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead deep dive work sessions with accounting domain partners and document high-quality accounting requirements.
• Build test strategies and plans. Write and execute test scripts.
• Communicate practices and procedures for proper financial control functions in accordance with the company's internal controls policies.
• Provide work guidance or mentorship to peers or junior members of the team.
• Apply extensive specialized knowledge and act as an internal consultant.
• Provide strategic consultation to leadership.
• Lead implementation of the most complex projects or initiatives impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterprise.
• Identify compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between IT and finance/accounting functions and partner with technology leads across the General Ledger ecosystem to align accounting requirements to build an efficient and scalable accounting engine system.
