Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 07:00–19:30 or 19:00–07:30 | Every Other Weekend | Some Holidays | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Operate and manage the NextStage CVVH machine for continuous renal replacement therapy
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, including identification of lethal cardiac rhythms
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-acuity patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in CVICU
• CVICU experience required
• Experience and knowledge of the NextStage CVVH machine required
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required; maximum of three attempts)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery setting
• Experience in an Acuity Adaptable care area
