AP Processor
Priority Personnel is seeking an AP Processor for a company located in San Antonio, TX. Position is temp for about 6 months but could be longer.
Pay rate: $20-22/hour
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri/8am-5pm with possibility of one day remote
Job Duties:
- Responsible for managing and processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner
- Process high-volume of invoices and verifying transaction information; schedule and prepare disbursements, and obtain authorization of payment as well as maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements as well as performs independent research to identify any discrepancies and related transactions
- Manages vendor related queries/issues and communicates with internal stakeholders
- Maintain historical records by filing documents electronically or physically
- Participate in financial audits and assisting in the resolution of audit findings
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent degree
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field can be beneficial
- Prior experience in an accounts payable role can be beneficial
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP. Familiarity with data entry and spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel
