Locums Orthopedic Surgery Physician in Portland, Oregon - Low Call Volume, Monthly Flexibility

Add a small number of 24 hour orthopedic call shifts each month with most activity handled by phone and limited onsite responses.

Highlights

• Only 3 to 5 shifts per month
• Approximately 2 to 3 onsite responses per shift
• Weekday and weekend options
• Limited patient contact during call

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient orthopedic surgery coverage
• Approximately 5 to 8 phone calls per 24 hour shift
• Surgical scope includes joint replacements, arthroscopy, and fracture repairs

Schedule

• 24 hour call shifts
• Weekday and weekend coverage
• Select shifts available each month
• Timely response to facility calls required while on coverage

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Must be Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active Oregon medical license required
