Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 120 days

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board certification required
Licenses: Active Ohio NP license (or ability to obtain)
DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required
Experience: Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience preferred
Other Qualifications: TB and Flu clearance per credentialing standards

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide independent evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of emergency department patients within NP/PA scope.
Collaborate with physicians to manage patient care in a 17-bed ED with 25,000-26,000 annual visits.
Perform 12-hour shifts covering morning, evening, and night hours as scheduled.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans.
Document patient encounters in EMR system and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
