Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine production activities and tasks required to support manufacturing operations
• Operate manufacturing equipment according to established production and ISO/TS16949 procedures
• Conduct routine safety and equipment inspections and report issues through appropriate reporting processes
• Accurately record operating conditions, material information, and production lot processing data
• Follow process setup instructions, blend instruction sheets, and other production documentation
• Gather, stage, and load appropriate raw materials for product compounding
• Prepare finished goods packaging with proper labels and material identification
• Collect samples for Quality Control (QC) and color testing
• Operate forklifts/tow motors to move raw materials, finished materials, and scrap to designated areas
• Operate peripheral and auxiliary equipment, including fume collection systems, dust collection systems, and bulk pellet transfer systems
• Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to support equipment repairs and process corrections
• Maintain required production quality and volume standards
• Perform housekeeping activities to maintain neat, clean, and orderly production areas
• Complete required audits and inspections, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities and housekeeping checklists
• Complete computer-based self-assessments and required monthly classroom or computer-based training
• Support production and operational activities as directed by the Team Leader or management
• Participate in plant improvement initiatives and adapt to process changes
• Support team projects and demonstrate a positive, collaborative approach to achieving production goals
• Accurately complete required production paperwork with minimal errors
• Develop proficiency in areas such as forklift operation, conveyor systems, blending, valves, feeder cleaning, roving, line packout, STW, turnaround/end-of-line processes, and pelletizer cleaning

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience
• High School Diploma or GED
