Responsibilities
- Demonstrate competence in selecting exposure factors and positioning to produce diagnostic-quality radiographic images; assist Radiologist during interventional procedures.
- Instruct and prepare patients for examinations; maintain patient comfort, safety, and rights throughout interfaces with care teams.
- Operate imaging equipment, monitor performance, and report malfunctions to the manager or lead technologist; support room turnover and assist colleagues as needed.
- Maintain medication security and ensure access is limited to authorized personnel.
- Document exams in the Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS; uphold confidentiality and participate in performance improvement activities as warranted.
- Ensure care is appropriate for all age groups and uphold professional interpersonal relationships with patients, families, and staff.

Requirements
- NYS License (or eligible to obtain prior to start)
- ARRT certification required; VIR certification preferred
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience; interventional radiology experience preferred
- Ability to work a hospital-based environment with on-call coverage and adherence to department scheduling
