Description This is a full-time Team Lead position on our Pharmacy Technician Billing Specialist team at North Hospital in Carmel, IN. Prior billing experience in a pharmacy capacity is preferred. Responsibilities include providing functional leadership of pharmacy technicians under the direction of pharmacy management as it relates to daily staff and pharmacy operations, performing all applicable duties of a Pharmacy Technician III, and coordinating scheduling, training, and assisting the supervisor/manager in the application of corporate, hospital, and pharmacy policies. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Indiana Pharmacy Technician License required. Pharmacy Technician National Certification required. No criminal history related to the ability to work with drugs. Strong mathematical calculation skills. Full proficiency as a pharmacy technician in assigned areas and ability to work within established procedures under limited supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
