Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Full Time Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour $20.25 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Tue 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Wed 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and vendor authorization in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site requirements. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity. Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required security-related documentation while communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
