Overview Enagic Accounting Clerk position at our headquarter branch location in Torrance, CA. Enagic is a Japan-based leading manufacturer of alkaline ionizers and water filtration machines. Enagic distributes its products through a network of independent contractor sales representatives through a multilevel (network) marketing business model. Hours: 9am-6pm M-F On-site position Job Summary We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies Implement and maintain internal financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Assist in special projects and financial analyses as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2-4 years of experience in accounting or related financial role Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Effective communication and interpersonal skills CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA license is a plus Preferred Skills Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools Knowledge of industry-specific accounting regulations Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools Understanding of risk management and internal control processes This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to expand their skill and contribute to the financial success of our organization.
