Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll support the unique needs of students, develop and implement effective learning strategies, and collaborate with faculty and families to promote success for every learner.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Colorado Special Education Certificate (required)
• Experience developing and managing IEPs and providing case management
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for working with students with diverse abilities
• Ability to adapt instruction based on individual student needs
• Familiarity with current SPED best practices and compliance standards

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct instruction to students with special needs in accordance with IEP goals
• Manage a caseload and lead IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and quality documentation
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth
• Work closely with general education teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
• Evaluate student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Participate in professional development and school activities
