The key to the ongoing success of the business is a system-based product portfolio featuring standard as well as custom engineered packaging machinery solutions and a superior consumable packaging product, complimented by quality technical service and readily available aftersales parts support.Role and Responsibilities:Performs safety check on lifts dailyPull stock from inventory as per information on the packing list received from the order clerkEnsure all trucks or containers are loaded in such a way that products arrive safelyEnsure all orders are signed off on the bill of lading by the driversCheck and sign all receiving documents after ensuring the incoming product is not damaged and is correct as per the purchase order. If damage is present fill out required damage report damage to purchasing department or the head of the department or any member of managementFollow all work instructions relating to the warehouse positionRetain copies of all required paperwork and return to the order clerkRotate stock as requiredKeep warehouse neat and cleanComplete monthly cycle countsProfile and Background:Strong safety focusHigh School diploma or GED required3- 5 years shipping and receiving experience preferredForklift certification requiredExperience in a manufacturing company requiredAbility to keep neat and organized records and files with attention to detail.Good problem-solving skills.Able to perform basic physical tasks such as lifting 50lbsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
