Assembler Position in Rockford, IllinoisOur customer in Rockford, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for performing basic assembly of small ball-nut components using hand tools and equipment while maintaining quality and safety standards throughout the production process.Responsibilities of the Assembler:Perform basic assembly of small ball-nut components using hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and hammersReview part drawings and assembly instructions to ensure correct assembly of parts.Inspect product during assembly using measuring tools to confirm components meet specifications.Document daily production activities, including part counts and material usage, in the ERP system.Collaborate with team members and other departments to maintain smooth workflow and meet production goals.Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace using 5S principles.Assist with material handling, including moving raw materials and finished products as needed.Perform final quality checks on completed ball-nut assemblies to meet company and customer requirements.Any/all other duties as assigned.Assembler Requirements and Qualifications:Must be 18 years or older.High School Diploma/GED equivalent or relevant work experience.Experience using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Proficient in using hand tools including drills, screwdrivers, and impact tools.Ability to read and interpret part drawings and written instructions.Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Basic math and documentation skills.Pay for Assembler: Starting at $17.00/hour.Assembler Benefits:Health insurance.Paid time off.401k with company match.Paid weekly.Direct deposit.Paid training.Type: 1st Shift, Full-time.Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm.
