Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in the Spokane, WA area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $25-36/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
- Commercial rough and finish carpentry
- Metal stud framing and layout
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and project plans
- Installing doors, frames, blocking, backing, trim, and specialty finish components
- Assembling and installing decorative acoustic wall and ceiling baffle systems
- Installing rails, brackets, anchors, aircraft cable systems, saddles, and suspension supports
- Installing and modifying anchor points in drywall, concrete, and Unistrut systems
- Measuring, cutting, and mapping layouts for consistent spacing and precision installation
- Using levels and layout tools to ensure alignment and uniform appearance
- Working from ladders and scissor lifts at heights up to approximately 20 feet
- Working independently or as part of a commercial crew to complete projects safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and execute layouts accurately
- Experience with framing systems, suspended assemblies, and finish installation
- OSHA 10 Certification is a plus (training available for qualified employees)
- Basic carpentry hand tools
- Standard PPE
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening
