What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill adult ICU patients, including ventilator management and IV med titration
• Manage vasoactive drips and total care for complex patients
• Monitor patient vitals and response to treatments, utilizing Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including RT, hospitalist, PICC team, and support staff
• Perform peripheral blood draws, support patients with advanced respiratory needs, and ensure safety and comfort during care delivery
• Float to MedSurg as needed, with orientation to Hospital, followed by 2 shifts on unit
• Adhere to unit protocols, including PPE, badge visibility, and scrub/jacket dress code

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensing in Louisiana
• Minimum 1.5 years ICU experience (2+ years for first-time travelers)
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• Strong skills in ventilator management, IV titration, EKG competency, and total patient care in critical settings
• Ability to work the scheduled 12-hour night shifts, including holiday coverage and every other weekend rotation
