From coordinating schedules and maintaining accurate records to supporting communication across the team, you'll help create an exceptional therapy experience for everyone involved.What You'll DoCoordinate therapy schedules to support resident needs and efficient department operationsServe as a primary point of contact for residents, families, therapists, and community team membersAssist with therapy referrals, admissions, discharges, and communication throughout the resident's course of careMaintain accurate and organized records, reports, and supporting documentationMonitor required paperwork and follow up with team members to help ensure documentation is completed accurately and on timeAssist with insurance verification, authorizations, and other administrative requirements as neededTrack departmental information and prepare reports for the Director of RehabilitationHelp coordinate meetings, care conferences, and communication with the interdisciplinary teamSupport therapists with administrative needs so they can remain focused on resident careProtect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policiesProvide exceptional customer service while helping residents and families navigate the therapy processPerform other duties as assigned to support the rehabilitation departmentQualificationsOur Ideal Candidate:Highly organized and able to manage multiple prioritiesA strong communicator who enjoys working with residents, families, and team membersDetail-oriented and committed to accuracyComfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environmentProficient with computers, scheduling systems, and Microsoft OfficeDependable, professional, and committed to providing excellent serviceExperienced in healthcare, rehabilitation, medical scheduling, insurance authorization, or a related administrative roleHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious administrative, scheduling, or healthcare experience preferredExperience in a rehabilitation, skilled nursing, senior living, or medical office environment is a plusAbility to maintain confidential information and follow HIPAA requirementsStrong organizational, communication, and customer-service skillsWhy MRC?With more than 60 years of service, Methodist Retirement Communities has built a strong reputation for transforming the aging experience through innovation and heart.
