VIRTUAL PROGRAM THERAPIST

Position Virtual Program Therapist – Daytime/Per Diem (Adult and Adolescent) Only California residents are eligible. Responsibilities The Virtual Program Therapist provides compassionate care to adult and adolescent patients in a virtual partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program. Responsibilities include individual therapy, psychodynamic assessment, specialized clinical social work services, crisis intervention, family therapy, group therapy, milieu management, and liaison services for referrals. Key Responsibilities Formulate and conduct educational, therapeutic, or support groups online. Communicate effectively with patients, families, the healthcare team, and community providers regarding resident status and progress. Interact with community agencies in the assessment and provision of services to patients. Provide liaison and referral services to community agencies and appear in court when requested or subpoenaed. Maintain confidentiality in compliance with professional ethics and facility standards. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year in a psychiatric healthcare setting with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills. Strong clinical assessment skills preferred. Experience with eating disorders or similar populations is preferred. Licensure: Program Therapist must be master’s prepared or higher. Licensed and/or license‑eligible therapist preferred. Additional Requirements: Familiarity and comfort with online video‑assisted communication. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime, including Saturday coverage as needed. Bilingual Spanish highly preferred.
