** School-Based Physical Therapist (PT)**

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to support students in a school-based setting in the Norwalk area for the 2026-2027 school year . This is a full-time opportunity working with a multidisciplinary team to help students achieve their educational and developmental goals.

** Responsibilities **

- Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans based on educational and functional needs
- Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications as appropriate
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

** Qualifications **

- Current California Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and abilities
