Materials Associate

Shift Available:

M-Th 6:00am-4:30pm


Job Summary:


The Materials Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and products throughout the facility. This position helps maintain accurate inventory, ensures materials are available to production, and follows all safety and quality procedures. Forklift experience is preferred, but not required. Applicant should be comfortable with walking and standing on their feet for long periods of time.


Key Responsibilities:


Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments.
Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the warehouse or production area.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as authorized.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
Pick and deliver materials to production areas according to schedules.
Label, stage, and store materials properly.
Prepare materials and products for shipment.
Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
Use scanners, computers, or inventory management systems to track materials.
Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous warehouse, materials, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred.
Forklift experience/certification is a plus.
Ability to lift and move materials as required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
