Analyst, Capital Markets

JLL Corporate Capital Markets & Single‑Tenant Net Lease Team seeks a dynamic Analyst to support the sales team across the full lifecycle of commercial real‑estate transactions. The Analyst will work in‑person in Dallas or Chicago and will collaborate with Producers, clients and internal stakeholders to underwrite deals, conduct market research, prepare offering memorandums, support marketing and close execution. Key Responsibilities Prepare property offering packages and submissions, including research, financial modeling and executive summaries. Build complex financial models to correctly underwrite transactions using market data and JLL comps. Manage the due diligence process and drive marketing and closing activities, maintaining constant communication with Producers, markets and clients. Identify and evaluate useful database trends and data for pitches and meetings. Review lease, loan, appraisal and other documents for potential issues. Recommend financing alternatives to present to Producers. Build client network through meetings, events and industry organization involvement. Participate in weekly office meetings to discuss deal flow, market conditions and new client leads. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications 2–5 years in a financial analysis environment; mortgage or commercial real‑estate experience preferred. Self‑motivated, team‑oriented and strong time‑management skills. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative and communication skills; able to interface with senior executives. Strong writing skills with ability to communicate analytical and marketing data effectively. Strong research, analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information. Independent worker with a team‑player attitude. Education Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills Intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word. Database experience is a plus. Environment Office – use of computers, copiers and scanners. Compensation Estimated base salary: $60,000 – $70,000 USD per year (range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ). This position also qualifies for discretionary bonus.
