Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Clearlake, CA, United States. Start date September 14, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,026–$2,127 per week with 48 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is Nights, 3x12s (6:00 PM–6:30 AM). Setting: Critical Access Hospital. This position supports ED care with potential float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care in the ED, with potential float to other units as needed
- Perform triage, initial assessment, and ongoing patient monitoring; develop and adjust care plans
- Administer medications, perform treatments, manage IVs, and monitor for adverse reactions
- Respond to emergencies, assist with resuscitation, and coordinate rapid interventions
- Document all patient care thoroughly in the electronic health record and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Ensure patient safety, HIPAA compliance, infection control, and appropriate handoffs to receiving units
- Adapt to unit changes, including float to ICU when required; maintain competency in critical care scenarios

Requirements
- California RN license in good standing
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
- Experience: At least one year of RN experience within the last 24 months and acute critical experience within the last 12 months, or EMT and ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years’ experience and in good standing
- EPIC experience required
- MICN desired within one year of hire; MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN encouraged
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED/critical care environment and to float as needed
- Physical demands: capable of performing required nursing duties in a hospital setting
- Compliance: Vaccination as a condition of employment (exemptions may apply); E-Verify participation; ability to provide Right to Work documentation
