Our client is a leading nonprofit health plan serving members across government-sponsored and commercial healthcare programs. On their behalf, we are seeking a Provider Demographic Coordinator - Medicaid to support the accurate maintenance and management of provider data within multiple healthcare systems.

The Provider Demographic Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely setup, maintenance, and updating of provider demographic information across multiple healthcare databases and systems. This work directly supports claims processing, provider network management, regulatory reporting, and overall member experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and maintain provider demographic information in multiple databases and systems.
• Process new provider demographic requests and updates with a high level of accuracy.
• Ensure provider records remain current and compliant with business and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to validate and maintain accurate provider data.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies and processing errors.
• Understand and communicate the downstream impacts of provider data changes on claims, reporting, provider directories, and member services.
• Follow established procedures and workflows while meeting production, quality, and turnaround-time standards.
• Translate provider demographic requests into formats that support efficient and accurate data loading across systems.
• Support ongoing process improvement efforts, documentation updates, and knowledge sharing activities.
• Maintain professionalism and a customer-focused approach when working with internal and external partners.

Qualifications
Required

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of administrative, data entry, operations, or related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Ability to learn complex processes, procedures, and healthcare-related systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
• Proven ability to meet productivity, quality, and service-level expectations.

Preferred

• Experience working with Medicaid provider data, healthcare provider enrollment, or provider network operations.
• Knowledge of healthcare databases and provider information management systems.
• Experience with HealthRules or similar healthcare administration platforms.
• Experience supporting claims processing, provider maintenance, or healthcare operations.
• Familiarity with regulatory and reporting requirements related to healthcare provider data.
• Experience participating in process improvement initiatives, training, or procedure documentation updates.
