Director, Tech Services M&A We are seeking a Director to lead large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology solutions for private‑equity clients and their portfolio companies. A&M Directors frequently lead the following types of engagements: How You Will Contribute The Director will manage the full deal lifecycle from pre‑deal technology due diligence to post‑deal implementation, providing leadership, coaching, and staff development while ensuring exceptional performance and quality deliverables. Responsibilities Lead pre‑acquisition IT diligence assignments focused on key areas such as ERP, WMS, CRM, IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, software development lifecycle, budgetary analysis, and organizational/personnel assessment. Provide interim IT management and oversee day‑1 and day‑100 planning and execution, driving performance improvement in ERP, back office, supply chain, BI/reporting integration, customer and channel management, and adjusting strategies or personnel as required. Ensure the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day‑to‑day client relationships. Coach staff, participate in recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams in local offices. Qualifications 10+ years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience, with at least five years specializing in systems implementations, merger integration, business transformation, and change management. Extensive experience working for or with private‑equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or related transaction/merger integration experience. Deep functional expertise in one or more of the following areas: Private Equity Advisory IT merger integration and carve‑out Business/IT transformation program or project management (e.g., ERP) Supply chain and finance/accounting improvement IT operations, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, and infrastructure IT assessment, strategy development, performance improvement, and cost reduction Demonstrated track record working with C‑suite executives, private‑equity deal and operating partners. Excellent fact‑gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysis. Specific experience designing and leading internally‑focused and externally‑focused change and communication strategies. Previous strategy and change‑management experience, preferably from a top‑tier strategy firm or Big‑4 consultancy. Bachelor’s degree required. Flexibility to travel up to 75% of the time. Benefits Summary Full‑time positions include healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life insurance, AD&D, disability coverages, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with an annual discretionary contribution. Employees receive paid time off, including vacation, personal days, 72 hours of sick time prorated for part‑time, ten federal holidays, a floating holiday, and parental leave. The salary range is $150,000–$225,000 annually, with a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
