Senior Manager, Biostatistics

Senior Manager position leading biostatistical strategy and operations for clinical development programs in the inflammation therapeutic area. Provides statistical oversight across multiple studies, directs cross-functional teams, and manages clinical trial statistical activities while serving as a people leader.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational statistical leadership for inflammation therapeutic area clinical programs
- Represent biostatistics at study and development team meetings for multiple programs
- Direct internal and external teams on statistical data analysis, reporting, and project deliverables
- Oversee technical and operational statistical activities for clinical trial groups
- Lead departmental strategic initiatives and coach team members on performance and development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years experience, Master's with 6 years, or PhD with relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to direct internal and external teams across multifunctional areas
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record leading effective teams with clear strategic direction
- Experience designing scientific communication vehicles within and outside organizations
- Ability to directly supervise personnel and develop staff capabilities
- Experience with statistical planning, protocol development, and regulatory interactions
Compensation: Other US Locations: $153,935–$199,210; Bay Area: $169,320–$219,120
