This full-time role involves providing high-quality patient care during cardiovascular procedures within the Cardiology department. The RN will support a team-based environment, collaborating with physicians and medical staff to ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes throughout diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Job Details Location: Evanston, Illinois Schedule: Days, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute on-call response time requirement Shift Hours: 8 hours daily Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours Start Date: 08/03/2026 Required Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required and must be maintained At least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Laboratory performing cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care environment Additional Information: The role requires managing and evaluating physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures Maintain and calibrate equipment and prepare procedure rooms for cardiovascular interventions Manage supplies and inventory to support efficient workflow Document patient conditions meticulously during procedures Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance activities Unit requires coverage of Operating Room/Interventional Radiology (OR/IR) and participation in call schedule including every third weekend and at least 16 on-calls over a six-week period Benefits Private housing or generous housing allowance Comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage Dependent health insurance with prescription coverage Competitive salaries Referral bonuses Travel reimbursement 401(k) retirement plan Direct deposit/free checking Unlimited free CE credits Cross Country Job ID #1296141.
