MUST HAVE Customer Service Representative with Logistics, Distribution, or Manufacturing background.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including, but not limited to, the following:

• Allocate orders in WMS
• Generate UCC and Shipping Labels
• Submit and collect routing requests
• Create Bill of Ladings
• Invoice customers for value added services
• Keep our customers updated on the current status of their orders
• Assist the Customer Service Representative Manager(s), Captains and other members of the department as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 2 year of experience in a 3PL environment strongly preferred
• Knowledge of general warehouse practices
• Routing experience and vendor compliance for major retailers
• LTL vs. TL requirements
• Small parcel shipping including FedEx Ship Manager and UPS Worldship
• Requirements for VICS bills of ladings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet and manage deadlines

Duties

• Greet customers at the front desk with a warm and professional attitude, managing multi-line phone systems efficiently
• Provide outstanding customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive interactions
• Manage appointment scheduling, calendar management, and data entry using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, proofreading documents, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions
• Support office operations through clerical duties including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software when needed
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette while supporting customers via phone, email, or in person

Qualifications

• Proven experience in office management or administrative support roles with strong organizational skills
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and basic data entry techniques
• Prior experience in customer service or support roles demonstrating effective communication skills
• Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Strong typing skills along with attention to detail for proofreading and data accuracy
• Experience as a dental or medical receptionist or personal assistant is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of clerical procedures such as filing, calendar management, and office organization
