LPN or RN Wound Nurse Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, protocols, and state regulations. Complete wound treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility. Implement and monitor resident care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate resident conditions. Follow and carry out physician and nursing orders. Coordinate with wound care providers. Oversee nursing staff wound treatments. Provide resident‑specific wound care and wound prevention education to CNAs and nurses. Administer medications and complete documentation. Oversee resident care and implement resident schedules. LPN or RN Wound Nurse Qualifications LPN or RN license in the state of MO Some wound care experience preferred. WCC or WOCN certification preferred but not required.
