Group Home Supervisor

Job Overview Position: Group Home Supervisor (Regular) Location: Multiple states (NC, GA, PA, TN, NJ) Reports to: Program Manager RHA Health Services is hiring a positive, personable individual to supervise and coordinate Direct Support employees and manage operations for 1–3 facility locations providing Non‑ICF services. The supervisor will lead the Direct Support Associates and ensure the daily operations of the assigned locations run smoothly. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate activities of Direct Support employees. Work closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff to maintain communication, provide feedback, and standardize procedures. Facilitate the implementation of person‑centered plans. Spend adequate time in the residential facility monitoring staff on all three shifts and provide feedback on interactions and relationships with people supported. Maintain harmony between employees and clients while serving as a positive role model. Provide medication administration audits. Resolve employee issues and conduct performance reviews. Ensure employees meet training requirements and attend required events. Monitor select budget items and stay within guidelines. Provide after‑hours and on‑call coverage as part of the direct care rotation. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities. Flexible schedule and availability to provide on‑call coverage as needed. Ability to lift between 20 and 50 lbs; CPR certification required after certification. CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification is a plus. Minimum age of 18 years. Physical Demands & Work Environment Regularly required to lift at least 30 lbs; minimum of 70 lbs for certain tasks. Must be able to pull a minimum of 50 lbs; squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop frequently. Required to stand and walk regularly; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Demonstrated proficiency in CPR from the floor level, requiring work on hands, knees, bending, standing, and lifting. Vision: close, distance, and peripheral vision; ability to talk and hear.
